About the role:

We offer an excellent opportunity for a global Finance leader to make their mark at Zeal Group! We are seeking an ambitious leader capable of influencing and delivering results. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Finance Strategy, which you will drive through a detailed evaluation of opportunities and risks as the business scales. We’re looking for someone who enjoys a start-up-like culture and has experience in a growth environment.

Requirements

Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a global team of talented Finance professionals
  • Translating business strategy into tangible deliverables for the Finance function
  • Implementing world-class finance procedures, processes, and systems
  • Managing the finance department, including accounting, monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, balance sheet substantiation, tax, treasury, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Tracking and managing performance, implementing best-in-class management information and analysis for decision-making
  • Managing cash flow to optimize company performance against enterprise-wide targets
  • Optimizing liquidity management, reviewing current practices, and strengthening security
  • Contributing to strategies for scaling, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial acumen
  • 5+ years of start-up or scale-up experience
  • Detail-oriented approach to finance, with the ability to translate strategy into tangible outcomes
  • Enthusiasm for financial analysis, with the ability to communicate insights at board level
  • Experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating financial risks
  • Extensive treasury experience, especially in analyzing the security of financial assets
  • Exposure to multinational operating models, with the ability to apply head office logic across multiple geographies
  • Experience in delivering tax processes
  • Ability to work independently, with full ownership and end-to-end process management
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to analyze numbers and collaborate with non-finance stakeholders

  • Experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams
  • Ability to develop and communicate regional and global policies
  • Proactive leadership skills with a hands-on approach
  • Experience onboarding and deploying global financial technology platforms, reorganizing workflows, and task allocation within large accounting systems
