Capital City College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Director to lead its financial operations and contribute to the long-term success of the organisation. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to influence key decisions, drive financial sustainability, and help shape the future of education in the heart of London.

About The Role

The role ensures a high-quality financial service for staff and budget holders, aligning the Financial Strategy with the College's strategic goals. It delivers accurate, timely reporting and forecasting to support informed decision-making through strong finance business partnering. Key responsibilities include integrating financial systems, maintaining internal controls, leading finance and payroll functions, and ensuring oversight for stakeholders. The role also drives procurement, focusing on efficiency and value across the College.

This is a full-time, permanent leadership role ideal for a senior finance professional with a strong track record of operating at a senior level in a complex, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring exceptional strategic, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead high-performing teams. A recognised accountancy qualification and substantial experience in financial leadership are essential. Experience within the education or public sector is desirable but not essential.
