Job summary

Cedar is partnering with a fast-growing PE-backed SaaS business to appoint a Finance Director in London. This senior leadership role reports to the CEO and sits on the SLT, owning the financial direction of the business.

You will lead FP&A, budgeting, commercial finance, investor reporting and governance, build a scalable finance function, and partner with the Board on strategy and fundraising. Experience in SaaS, recurring revenue and strong modelling skills are essential, as is the ability to

• Qualified accountant with SaaS/recurring-revenue experience.
• Strong FP&A and financial modelling skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and present to the Board.
• Experience with private equity investors and scaling finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the financial model.
• Lead board reporting, management accounts, cash flow and performance analysis.
• Oversee SaaS metrics and unit economics including ARR, MRR, ACV, CAC, NRR and gross margin.
• Guide commercial decision-making across pricing, contracts, investment and growth.
• Coordinate investor reporting and support future fundraising activity.
• Strengthen financial controls, statutory compliance and governance.
• Develop and scale the finance function, systems and processes.

Cedar is partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS business to appoint a Finance Director. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the financial direction of the business and a key seat at the table alongside the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

The Role

You will take ownership of:

• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the company's financial model.
• Board reporting, management accounts, cash flow and performance analysis.
• SaaS metrics and unit economics, including ARR, MRR, ACV, CAC, NRR and gross margin.
• Commercial decision-making across pricing, contracts, investment and growth.
• Investor reporting and supporting future fund raising activity.
• Financial controls, statutory compliance and governance.
• Developing and scaling the finance function, systems and processes.

About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience in a SaaS, technology or recurring-revenue environment. You will need strong FP&A and financial modelling skills, alongside the commercial confidence to influence senior stakeholders and present to the Board.

Experience of working with private equity investors, SaaS metrics and scaling finance teams would be highly advantageous.
