This role is for a most dynamic and passionate Finance Director / Head of Finance of engineering/manufacturing who is prepared to make a huge difference. This Finance Director will be pivotal to underpinning an incredible growth agenda.

Main responsibilities:

• Part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting into and working closely with the Managing Director, this new role of Finance Director is key in a small dynamic organisation, with overall responsibility for financial management, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting and analysis.
• Leveraging the use of the MRP system, the Finance Director will deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, group reporting, and board-level analysis.
• They will monitor financial performance and proactively implement cost-saving initiatives where necessary, always driving continuous improvement across systems, controls, business efficiencies, forecasting and reporting processes.

The candidate profile:

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, preferably CIMA), the Finance Director will have experience leading a team in finance management within an agile manufacturing SME.
• They have proven experience preparing management accounts to a high standard in a hands-on role, in an international environment.
