An established industry player is seeking a Finance Director to lead financial strategy and governance in their Yorkshire East region. This role offers the chance to shape a best-in-class finance team and develop a robust 5-year business plan. We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Finance Director to join our Yorkshire East region based at our Head Office in Lakeside, Doncaster. They will drive delivery of the budget and strategic direction, leadership and management in finance controls, business planning and corporate governance, as well as leading the regional Finance team.
Reporting into the Divisional Finance Director and with responsibility to the Regional Managing Director, the Finance Director will also be a proactive member of the regional board, developing a robust, risk balanced and achievable 5-year business plan and a best in class regional finance team. They will prepare a monthly profit and cash forecast, driving a culture of maximising site profitability within the region, as well as developing best practice procedures and reporting, working with internal stakeholders including Central Finance in order to do so.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience
We are looking for an experienced senior Finance Leader who embodies our Keepmoat values; a straightforward thinker, organised and able to manage their time effectively. A creative problem solver, they will be used to working under pressure and to deadlines. They will be passionate, demonstrating drive and energy in delivering high performance and keeping their team focused on business results. A collaborative individual with a high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability and experience with developing relationships and communicating at all levels.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within a similar role within housebuilding or construction. They will have strong financial planning and analysis experience, alongside experience of managing financial process change and system implementation. Strong cash management and treasury experience, alongside experience of working in a plc or private equity environment would be advantageous.
