Finance Director - c£Excellent - Northern Ireland - Construction Sector

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director, responsible for overseeing financial operations across the UK and Europe. This high-level role involves close collaboration with the Finance Managers to lead the Finance and Administration functions, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will use financial insights to identify potential risks, provide solutions, and drive performance improvement initiatives across the business.

As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the company, overseeing financial governance, enhancing profitability, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. This is a hands-on position that requires both operational focus and strategic leadership.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred).
2. At least 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with significant experience in the construction sector.
3. In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
4. Strong leadership skills and experience managing finance teams.
5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
