Job summary

Finance Delivery Analyst role in the UK, on-site in Telford, 6-month contract with a rate up to £299 per day (umbrella). You will work to support the Finance Business Partner and stakeholders to maintain accurate financial statements.

Responsibilities include monthly financial reporting, GL postings in SAP S/4 HANA, reviewing finance packs, presenting the position to the Finance Partner, and maintaining the balance sheet with audit information. BPSS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BPSS clearance required.
• Experience with monthly financial reporting and governance.
• Knowledge of posting to General Ledger using SAP S/4 HANA.

• Support day-to-day operational activities across monthly financial reporting, control and governance.
• Post entries to the general ledger, using SAP S/4 HANA and update forecast entries.
• Review monthly finance packs with key stakeholders to ensure accuracy and reflect performance.
• Present the monthly financial position to the Finance Business Partner.
• Maintain an accurate balance sheet position with audit information.
• Highlight risks & opportunities to business partners and Finance Partner promptly.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analysis to support decision-making.
• Support the Finance Partner on ad-hoc tasks and provide cover for team tasks as needed.

Description: In this role, you will be working to support the Finance Business Partner & wider business stakeholders to maintain accurate financial statements.

As part of this role, you will

• Support the day-to-day operational activities across a variety of business areas including monthly financial reporting, control and governance.
• Post entries to the general ledger, using SAP S/4 HANA and update forecast entries based on the latest business intelligence.
• Review monthly finance packs with key business stakeholders to ensure numbers are accurate and reflect the expected business performance.
• Present the monthly financial position to the Finance Business Partner.
• Maintain an accurate balance sheet position with relevant audit information.
• Highlight risks & opportunities to your business partners and Finance Business Partner in a timely manner.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analysis to support the business to enable decision-making.
• Support the Finance Business Partner on ad-hoc tasks as required and providing cover for team tasks where necessary.
