Job summary

Sellick Partnership in the public sector is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for a 14-month fixed-term contract. You will work with directors and budget holders to provide financial insight, challenge and support to improve decision-making and organisational performance.

The role covers monthly forecasting, budgeting, management accounting, producing management reports, and contributing to governance and year-end processes, with a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• CCAB or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main finance contact for designated business areas.
• Build strong relationships with directors and senior stakeholders.
• Lead monthly forecasting, budgeting and management accounting activities.
• Produce accurate management accounts and financial reports.
• Provide financial analysis, insight and challenge to support decision making.
• Support board, audit and governance reporting requirements.
• Develop and improve management information, reporting tools and dashboards.
• Support year-end processes, audits and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and governance requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function.

Salary: £50,000 / £250.00 daily Umbrella
