Job summary

Edenbrook invites you to join our growing finance analytics team as a Finance Data Scientist in the United Kingdom. You will apply data science to financial and actuarial data, build predictive models and dashboards, and automate processes to support business decisions.

You will work with Power BI, SQL, R and Databricks, develop scalable data pipelines, and communicate insights to stakeholders. A background in Insurance and finance/actuarial data is preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in Insurance industry or financial services preferred.
• Technical background in Finance, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• Practical experience with Power BI, SQL, R and Databricks; solid understanding of financial/actuarial data.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organise and analyse large financial and actuarial datasets from multiple sources.
• Build predictive models to identify financial risk factors and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Automate data workflows and scalable pipelines to reduce manual processes.
• Collaborate with finance and actuarial teams to identify data-driven improvements.
