Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Finance Data Platform Consultant to build and operate the data platform that underpins finance analytics and reporting. You’ll model data, create pipelines, and ensure the platform’s outputs reconcile with the ledger, working hands-on from the start within a finance transformation programme.

You’ll bring hands-on cloud data platform experience (Snowflake/Databricks/Palantir Foundry), ERP integration (SAP/Oracle), and strong SQL/API skills, with exposure to Python or ML.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with a modern cloud data platform and the data layers from ingestion to curated sets.
• Experience integrating finance data from ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) into reporting environments.
• Strong SQL, API, and data-integration knowledge; Python/ML exposure preferred.
• Ability to build management reporting and analytics on platform data.

Responsibilities

• Model data and build/test pipelines that feed a governance-focused finance data platform.
• Ensure data reconciles with the ledger; develop tests and monitoring for feeds.
• Collaborate with client finance and technology teams in workshops and design sessions.
• Deliver clear analysis and options to inform client decisions; manage scope and expectations.
