Job summary

dnevo Partners is seeking a Software Engineer to build data pipelines and applications supporting finance and regulatory reporting for a new financial-markets platform. The role focuses on data movement from core trading to finance outputs, with exposure to trading and core-platform development as the system grows.

The candidate will develop Python/Java ETL pipelines, implement data validation and monitoring, and collaborate with finance, operations and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of Java and/or Python.
• Strong SQL and relational-database skills.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL or data-intensive apps.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Good software-development fundamentals.
• Meticulous data accuracy mindset.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python and Java ETL pipelines.
• Move trade, position and reference data into reporting datasets.
• Develop automated reconciliation and data-quality controls.
• Investigate reporting breaks and data discrepancies.
• Build validation, exception-management and monitoring processes.
• Develop SQL queries and data-transformations.
• Support regulatory-reporting and vendor integrations.
• Automate data preparation and submission workflows.
• Test outputs for accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
