Job summary

Moneycorp seeks a Data Engineer to enable Finance & Treasury with accurate, timely reporting by building scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Fabric platform. You will engineer robust data pipelines, manage datasets, and support modernization of Finance systems within a hybrid London role.

The role emphasizes secure data governance, SCD2 reporting, and production‑level code to support lead management and finance processes. A fixed‑term contract is offered with a path to continued partnership.

Qualifications

• Extensive SQL experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Strong SQL, T-SQL and SparkSQL proficiency.
• Background as SQL Analyst/Developer or Data Engineer.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data sources.
• Production-level data transformation code writing.
• Fast-paced environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL data structures in Microsoft Fabric and Python‑based transformations for scalable pipelines.
• Build reporting datasets and implement SCD Type 2 for historical accuracy.
• Ensure data security and integrity within medallion architecture and governance.
• Develop Power BI semantic models on Fabric Gold‑layer datasets for dashboards.
• Onboard new data sources via secure connectivity and APIs with DevOps.
