Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Finance Team. The role focuses on financial reporting, data analysis, income validation and robust reconciliation across Trust systems.

You will work with large datasets to produce accurate information for decision making and forecasts. The successful candidate will prepare routine and ad-hoc reports, investigate variances, support month-end and year-end processes, and help improve data quality

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and Excel skills for financial reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with large, complex datasets and narrative data presentation.
• NHS/healthcare finance experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses.
• Undertake reconciliations and investigate variances across datasets.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes and forecasting.
• Validate contract income information and reconcile data between systems.
• Contribute to developing reporting tools and automation to improve data quality and controls.
