Job summary

An international company based in Leeds City Centre is looking for a Finance Data Analyst. This hybrid role is initially a 12-month contract with a potential for permanency. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Mathematics, Economics, or Science, alongside strong Excel skills, and ideally some experience as an Analyst. The role entails various responsibilities, including timely reporting and cost analysis.

Job description

My client are an international company based in Leeds City Centre who are looking for a Finance Data Analyst. This role would ideally suit a Graduate with a Degree in Mathematics, Economics or Science.

This role is initially a 12 Month FTC with the possibility to go permanent.

As a Finance Data Analyst your duties will include:

• Ensure all reporting and management information is provided in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain models for cost analysis
• Develop and implement solutions to pricing issues
• Provide daily reporting updates to internal teams
• Suggest improvements based on reporting figures
• Monitor the impact of industry changes on costs

As a Finance Data Analyst you will have the following skills:

• Ideally a Graduate with a STEM Background
• Previous experience as an Analyst would be preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including VBA
• Knowledge of Python and SQL would be advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail
