Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Finance Assistant to support accurate control account reconciliations and timely input of invoice records into the Finance Department systems. You will act as a key contact for internal and external queries to ensure swift resolution.

The role sits within the NHS Trust; training is provided, with opportunities for development across sites in Cheshire and Wirral and a commitment to high-quality financial processing.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Mathematics.
• Successfully working towards / achieved Intermediate level of AAT.
• Association of Accounting Technician finalist / qualified.
• ECDL

Responsibilities

• Ensure control account reconciliations are completed accurately and timely.
• Liaise with colleagues to resolve outstanding control account issues.
• Input invoices into Accounts Receivable / Payable system as they arrive.
• Ensure invoices are raised/distributed promptly to support processing and respond to external debtor/creditor queries.
