Job summary

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is Santander's global division that supports sophisticated corporate and institutional clients. You will ensure continuity of BAU accounting and month-end reporting, registering admin expenses and staff costs with strong controls over invoicing and payment flows.

You will produce P&L commentary on expenses, support VAT/Corporate Tax filings, and collaborate with Head of Accounting to deliver timely, accurate financial reporting across Santander

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounting department and control function.
• Knowledge of treasury/wholesale products including cash and funding instruments is desirable.
• Strong IT skills with familiarity of office software and booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BAU accounting and reporting during month-end processes.
• Oversee registration of administrative expenses and staff costs with strong controls on invoicing and payments.
• Produce and interpret P&L reports focusing on expenses and variances for management review.
• Support VAT and Corporate Tax submissions and intercompany reporting.
