As a Financial Controller, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and assist with tasks such as:

• Preparing and filing statutory accounts, tax, and VAT reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conducting finance due diligence reviews and providing insights and recommendations.
• Managing and controlling the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Forecasting the balance sheet and cash flow in collaboration with the Finance Manager and supporting the budgeting process.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medium-sized or large organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

This role offers a hybrid working model with flexibility to work from home or from our office in Liverpool city centre.
