Job summary

KennedyPearce Consulting partners with an international consumer business in Central London to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. You will lead the Financial Accounting team, owning reporting, controls and statutory compliance across a multi-entity group, and drive finance transformation with senior stakeholders.

You’ll oversee month-end close, balance sheet oversight, and external audits while strengthening governance.

Qualifications

ACA or ACCA qualification required.
3+ years post-qualified experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP / FRS 102.
Experience managing external audits and statutory reporting.
Experience coaching or developing finance professionals.
Strong understanding of financial controls and governance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Interest in process improvement, automation and finance transformation.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Financial Accountants and oversee month-end and year-end close.
Oversee financial reporting across multiple entities.
Review accounting entries, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations.
Provide technical accounting guidance across IFRS and FRS 102.
Manage external audits and statutory accounts.
Own Companies House, HMRC, and wider regulatory requirements.
Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management.
Drive process improvement, automation and finance transformation.
