We are actively recruiting a Finance Controller Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Greater Manchester area. As the Finance Controller Lead, you will be responsible for providing insights and transparency on overhead costs, supporting decision-making processes, and advising the business on financial matters.

This role offers the flexibility of working 2 days onsite and 3 days from home, and is an initial 9 month contract. This position (depending on experience), can offer £55-65 p/h via an Umbrella company, 37.5 hours per week.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Finance Controller Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Finance Controller Lead, you will support decision-making on overhead costs by providing insights on spend, capitalization, and FTEs.

2. As the Finance Controller Lead, you will lead, coordinating, and present financial results to various Business Partners, including actual performance, outlook, budget, and risk assessments.

3. As the Finance Controller Lead, you will build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams to support innovation in reporting and system improvements.

4. As the Finance Controller Lead, you will prepare/analyse overhead costs consolidation and supporting controlling activities for the holding divisions.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as theFinance Controller Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in finance-related functions and international roles exposed to senior management.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel, accounting systems (preferably SAP), and financial reporting.
