Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Finance Controller for a busy Leigh-on-Sea business. This temporary role offers hands-on responsibility, immediate start, and potential for permanent employment, with a salary range of £40,000 to £50,000.

You will lead monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations, payments, VAT reporting, credit control, and liaison with external accountants, using Excel and our accounting software to deliver accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experienced in finance controller/finance manager or similar senior finance role.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
• Accurate, highly organised and numerate.
• Capable of working independently and using own initiative.
• Professional and confident communicator.
• Able to work in a small team and start immediately.
