  • Experience in a similar standalone finance role in hospitality, leisure or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Job Description

  • Act as the hotel's financial conscience, advising and challenging senior stakeholders
  • Manage the finance function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
  • Analyse performance trends and guide commercial decisions
  • Oversee credit control and cashflow management
  • Liaise with operations to support departments in meeting targets
  • Support and lead internal/external audits
  • Supervise and develop finance team members
  • Ensure robust internal controls and risk reduction
  • Drive system improvements and support IT solution integration

The Successful Applicant

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience
  • Experience in a similar standalone finance role within hospitality, leisure or similar
  • A commercial mindset and strong business partnering skills
  • Ability to translate financials to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a small team
  • Excellent knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
