Do you have a passion for finance and a desire to make a difference? Do you want to work in a flexible and supportive environment with a friendly team? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our financial controller role!

As a financial controller, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and assist them in various tasks, such as:

  • Preparing and filing statutory accounts, tax and VAT reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conducting finance due diligence review and providing insights and recommendations.
  • Managing and controlling the balance sheet and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Forecasting the balance sheet and cashflow in collaboration with the Finance Manager and supporting the budgeting process.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medium-sized or large organisation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

You will also enjoy working hybrid, with flexibility to work from home or from our office in Liverpool city centre.
