Job summary

Bank of America in Chester, UK is seeking a Product Associate to gain in-depth understanding of financial products, risk profile, and reporting processes. You will produce and review P&L and Balance Sheet figures, support month-end close, and partner with colleagues to resolve accounting issues.

You will validate reporting to regulators, provide financial insight to trading teams, and engage in ad-hoc projects to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2:1 UK degree or equivalent.
• Qualified/part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding of financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Understand the financial products, risk profile and risk mitigation techniques.
• Produce and review daily/monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, including month end close.
• Partner with colleagues across the bank to investigate and resolve accounting issues.
• Validate reporting to external regulators.
• Provide financial insight and partner with Trading colleagues to optimise business performance.
• Engage in ad-hoc project work to drive efficiency and enhancement to our routines.
