Job description

Finance Central Policy Office - Director (equivalent to AVP) is a full-time position based in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The role involves supporting the Head of the Finance Central Policy Office and Governance Lead in developing a transparent governance framework. The candidate will oversee and monitor operational risks, validate financial and regulatory reports, and reinforce regulatory compliance within Morgan Stanley's global finance division.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Finance and the firm
  • Leading deliverables and projects based on in-depth knowledge of finance areas
  • Ensuring adherence to risk, regulatory standards, policies, and controls
  • Embodied leadership and example-setting in line with firm values
  • Implementing and owning the Finance Policy & Procedure Governance Framework
  • Reviewing and maintaining supervisory documentation as per regulatory mandates
Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of finance functions, products, or client segments
  • Ability to operate independently and provide constructive feedback
  • Experience in financial services or compliance, with understanding of regulatory environment preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
