The Team:

This role will partner with our Workplace team.

Location:

Based in London, Victoria, with hybrid working arrangements. Discuss suitable arrangements with the hiring manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic planning and decision support to the Head of Workplace, delivering financial insights to guide long-term strategies, focusing on leasing performance, benchmarking, and KPI delivery.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for Workplace leasing, including commercial income from Piccadilly Lights, ensuring forecasts are challenging yet realistic, with scenario planning and risk assessment.
  • Partner with the Commercial Performance & Planning team to develop executive reports with insights, metrics, and exception reports to support decision-making and identify performance opportunities.
  • Act as the primary strategic partner, developing action plans based on monthly results to enhance financial performance and leasing outcomes.
  • Drive commercial performance across the portfolio, challenging teams for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance and controls are in place, adhering to approval processes.
  • Support external reporting, including valuations, with insightful commentary and accuracy review.
  • Review JV reporting for accuracy and contractual compliance.
  • Lead financial analysis for leasing, standardizing lease approval processes to improve returns.
  • Support data accuracy and accountability within the Commercial Performance & Planning team.
  • Help develop the team’s commercial acumen and effectiveness through feedback and coaching.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Experience in business partnering with demonstrable performance improvements
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Budgeting and forecasting expertise
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
