An innovative firm is seeking a Finance Business Partner for Special Projects in Bury. This role reports directly to the Finance Director (Special Projects) with a secondary line to the relevant Business Unit Finance Director. It is responsible for coordinating timely finance inputs from the Business Unit to support LGC's strategic planning and development programs.
The role involves working with Group Finance and Business Unit Finance to deliver financial data and analysis, interacting with senior stakeholders, and supporting due diligence processes, especially in M&A activities. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed financial forecasts, analyzing performance trends, supporting strategic initiatives, and providing data for due diligence and investor Q&A.
The ideal candidate is an experienced M&A professional with strong financial analysis, data analytics, and business modelling skills. Qualifications include a degree (1st or 2.1), M&A transaction experience, qualified accountant status, and proficiency in MS Excel and modelling. The candidate should be proactive, able to work independently, and skilled in building relationships with senior stakeholders.
