Job description

Robert Walters have partnered with a high growth manufacturing organisation, based in the heart of Berkshire, who are looking for a highly commercial Finance Business Partner/Analyst to join their expanding finance function.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the business, shaping financial processes and decision-making frameworks, and helping to build a best-in-class finance function from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with business leaders to establish robust project accounting practices
  • Improve our cash flow forecasting with a focus on accounts payable
  • Help embed financial controls and ensure alignment with internal policies and frameworks
  • Support the creation of a procurement function to enhance supply chain capabilities
  • Lead improvements in inventory and stock management data to support decision-making
  • Contribute to the deployment and integration of SAP S/4HANA
  • Assist in running the in-house payroll system

What You’ll Bring:

  • CIMA or ACCA finalist or newly qualified, or QBE with relevant experience
  • Experience working within a SME manufacturing environment is essential
  • Proven experience in project accounting
  • A self-starter attitude with a proactive and cooperative mindset
  • Ability to manage and summarise complex data under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
  • Confident in liaising with both internal and external auditors
  • Experience running in-house payroll would be desirable but not essential
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA would be desirable but not essential
