Job summary

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Finance Business Partner – Operations to support the Operations function and Gross Margin reporting from Cambridge, on site.

You will partner with leaders across Operations, Commercial and Finance to deliver detailed financial analysis, capital investment appraisal, and forecasting, while ensuring SOX controls and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with proven experience.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, including Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial planning systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Operations P&L and capex forecasting process, and Gross Margin forecasting including detailed modelling.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including capital investment appraisals, variance and trend analysis, and forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with key business leaders across Operations, Commercial and Finance to understand their objectives.
• Ensure SOX compliant controls for both revenue and cost recognition.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
