This role provides professional financial business partner support to the MCFC and MCWFC operational teams. A key part of the role is to understand the business areas deeply—what matters to them and how finance can add value. You will lead the finance relationship, including financial collection, reporting, and analysis.

Your Impact

  • Support MCFC & MCWFC operations with financial processes such as budgeting and forecasting.
  • Perform financial analysis to support decision-making by senior leaders.
  • Assist in meeting budgets and long-range plans, including corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence and improve decision-making with data.
  • Collaborate with other departments like Legal and Tax.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with a relevant university degree.
  • Experience with operational finance, preferably in a sports environment.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with clear examples.
  • Experience supporting operational areas within a professional football club.
