About Our Client
My client is one of the UK's largest housing groups and a leading developer.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis on potential Development activities and potential land sales.
- Provide and clearly communicate the current financial position and impact on future forecasts for all Development activity.
- Ability to challenge complex project appraisals and work with the business to continuously review performance of development projects. Run project reviews at completion.
- Support land teams in writing and reviewing business cases, making sure they meet the Group's objectives and ensuring Development teams have access to sound financial support.
- Support FD in preparing presentations and papers for Senior Management and Boards.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with various departments to drive financial performance improvements.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Qualifications
A successful Finance Business Partner Manager should have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAEW/equivalent).
- Appropriate proven experience in a Housebuilding financial position.
- Extensive experience of using Microsoft Excel to provide business information.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
- Track record of making improvements and focusing on innovation in previous roles
