Job Title - Finance Business Partner

Base Location: Watford plus network of 20 offices nationally:

In these roles, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance for either KBS or EWT. The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting financial management and cost control within KBS.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing financial guidance and support for decision-making.
  • Manage the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, providing challenge where appropriate on affordability and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Day-to-day management of other team members as required, including work allocation and prioritization, understanding and supporting training needs, and dealing with performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with firmwide accounting policies, tax regulations, and financial controls, ensuring accuracy of financial information reported. Manage financial risks effectively.

What will you need to do it?

  • Qualified or part-qualified with a recognized accounting body or a relevant degree, or over 10 years of relevant experience in accounting within an operational or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience in financial management and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to scrutinize complex financial data and perform advanced financial modeling.
  • Experience managing and coaching junior colleagues on the job.
