Job summary

UK Health Security Agency seeks a Finance Business Partner and Management Accountant to join the FPRA function on a 6-month remote contract with occasional travel to Canary Wharf. You will deliver high-quality financial advice, planning, forecasting and reporting across BAU and major change programmes.

You will develop robust business cases, financial models and investment appraisals, strengthening processes, controls and reporting for the CDO Group and related portfolios.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CCAB, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and costing experience.
• Understanding of budgeting frameworks and financial management principles.
• Experience in investment appraisal and business case support.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate complex data into strategic insight.
• Finance skills aligned with the Government Finance Function Career Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and management accounting support to the CDO Group.
• Develop accurate monthly forecasts, variance reports and MI with clear commentary.
• Contribute to business cases, investment proposals and financial appraisals.
• Create standard costing models and improve reporting transparency.
• Support transformation programmes with robust financial governance and reporting.
• Monitor benefits realisation and ensure cost transparency across the portfolio.
• Assist with reconciliations, capex reporting and audit requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement to financial processes and controls.
• Engage with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, HR and operations.
