Job summary

Accountancy Action is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Finance team in the UK. You will own the month-end processes across multiple sites, delivering P&L analyses by project and site and providing commercial insight to drive performance.

This role offers exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, with the chance to move beyond pure accounting into strategic business partnering and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Experience across multiple sites or projects preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate/advanced).

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end process across operational sites.
• Prepare monthly P&L by project and site.
• Manage accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.
• Conduct monthly financial performance reviews with dept heads and project managers.
• Provide commercial analysis and business partnering to non-finance stakeholders.
• Analyze performance against budget and prior year.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve financial performance.
