Job summary

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to lead financial support across Children’s and Schools services in the East of England. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with hybrid working and an ASAP start, offering a competitive rate per day.

You will lead the finance team, manage budget monitoring, reporting and year-end tasks, and provide high-quality financial advice to senior service managers and budget holders.

Qualifications

• Must have CCAB or CIMA including CIPFA.
• Significant local authority experience in children’s and schools finance.
• Experience leading finance teams and delivering budget monitoring, setting and year-end processes.
• Strong communication skills to advise senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
