G's Group is seeking an ambitious Finance Business Partner to join our finance team. You will partner with operational leaders, translate financial data into actionable insights, and support strategic growth with robust planning and analysis.

This role emphasizes performance improvement, risk identification, and leading budgeting and forecasting processes, while developing the finance team and maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance, or Senior Management Accounting role.
• Experience operating within a complex commercial environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders.
• Demonstrable experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
• Strong financial control and governance knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Commercially focused and highly inquisitive.
• Proactive self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborative and relationship driven.
• Able to work independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
• Strong communicator capable of translating financial information into meaningful business insight.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and budget holders across the business.
• Support leaders in developing robust budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
• Provide commercial and financial insight to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Identify business risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Produce clear and insightful monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership teams and Board reviews.
• Ensure robust financial controls are maintained across the business.
• Lead and develop members of the finance team.
