George.com remains Asda’s fastest growing arm of the business and increasingly plays a pivotal role within Asda’s £3bn clothing & general merchandise operation.
You will be working within a fast-paced & dynamic environment, managing a wide network of commercial & operational stakeholders to continue the delivery of commercial growth and a sustainable economic model. Trading Finance work closely with the Clothing & GM Trading & broader Ecommerce teams, supporting in strategic direction, decision making and providing insight into all aspects of commercial performance. You will business partner the George.com Senior Director and be a key part of their leadership team. You will manage a full P&L from sales & GP, through costs such as picking, delivery, webhosting, marketing & store costs.
You will be responsible for understanding and driving improvements in the commercial performance, stimulating strategic decision making, driving financial discipline, processes, and accountability, to deliver the ambitious growth plans for George.com. The main responsibilities include:
To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
