Job description

Our client, a leading organisation in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector, is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support its UK & Ireland operations. This is a key commercial finance role, working closely with senior leadership to drive performance, deliver insightful analysis, and strengthen relationships with distributors and HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate financial planning & forecasting (long-range plan, annual budget, quarterly forecasts).
• Provide analysis across revenue, margin, OPEX, and headcount, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Act as key finance contact for UK & Ireland commercial operations, liaising with HQ, distributors, and wholesalers.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting packs, accruals, and performance KPIs.
• Manage pricing, rebates, and contract support in partnership with the commercial team.
• Monitor and report on stock levels across UK, Ireland, and Belgium.
• Support business cases and ad hoc projects to drive growth.

Candidate Profile

• Finance/Business degree qualified.
• 3-5 years' experience in a finance business partner or commercial finance role (sector experience in pharma/healthcare highly desirable).
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge; exposure to ERP systems/PowerBI advantageous.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge stakeholders.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
