Finance Business Partner - Funding & Donor Reporting
Location: West Midlands (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently partnering with a respected international charity to recruit a Finance Business Partner focused on the funding and donor side of the organisation. This pivotal role sits within the finance team and plays a key part in ensuring effective financial oversight of grant funding and donor contributions.
Working under the leadership of the International Charity Finance Manager, this position offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference within a values-led organisation that supports global programmes.
Act as the primary finance contact for donor-funded projects, ensuring robust financial management and reporting.
Prepare donor reports in line with contractual requirements and internal deadlines.
Collaborate with programme teams to monitor project budgets, forecast expenditure, and ensure appropriate use of funds.
Support bid development and financial input for new funding proposals.
Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and audit requirements.
Provide financial analysis and advice to non-finance stakeholders to aid decision-making.
Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or qualified by experience.
Previous experience working in a charity, NGO, or donor-funded environment is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of restricted/unrestricted funding and donor compliance.
Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficient in Excel and confident handling complex data.
A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
