Job summary

Place Partnership is seeking a proactive Finance Business Partner to support Academy Leaders and Senior Leadership Teams across our West Hub in Wakefield. You will deliver planning, budgeting, forecasting and management accounts to inform strategic decisions and sustainable growth.

You will build strong relationships with leaders, provide financial insight, challenge, and support to ensure resources are used effectively and compliantly across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Strong technical finance skills and excellent stakeholder management.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reports.
• Ability to influence, challenge and build relationships.
• High accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting support.
• Deliver management accounts and financial analysis, identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop forecasts and financial models, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear financial insight to support decision-making and sustainability.
• Build relationships with leaders to maximise resources and support strategic objectives.
• Support long-term financial planning and risk management across the Trust.
