Finance Business Partner - Capital

Job Description

Castlefield Recruitment is currently partnering with an NHS organization to recruit an Interim Capital Finance Business Partner. This role offers a daily rate of £300-£400 (depending on experience), on an initial 3–6-month contract. The position provides hybrid working and potential for extension.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business partner to capital project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Lead on the financial management and reporting of the Trust’s capital programme.
• Provide strategic financial insight to support decision-making and effective capital planning.
• Ensure compliance with NHS financial governance and capital expenditure controls.
• Monitor and forecast capital spend, highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities.

Person Specification

• Qualified Accountant (NHS experience is highly desirable).
• Proven experience in capital finance and business partnering, ideally within a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
