Finance Business Partner (Assistant Manager)

Milton Keynes, hybrid working

The Finance Business Partner - Assistant Manager works with client-facing teams to drive financial literacy, embed good discipline around core business processes, and design and monitor suitable KPIs. Regular interaction with the business occurs through reporting, analysis, and actions. The team aims to embed a “comply or explain” approach regarding core processes at all levels.

We support flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help balance work and life.

Role Responsibilities
  • Annual budgeting and rolling forecast
  • Standard costing and annual updates to the costing model
  • Finance and business reporting
  • Periodic WIP valuation
  • Maintenance of key processes and data
Candidate Requirements

The minimum criteria include being a newly or part-qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA preferred) with experience in finance analysis or management accounts. Good IT and communication skills are essential. Preferred skills include experience in professional services or complex matrix organizations, strong Excel skills, organization, deadline management, training ability, and experience with budgets and forecasts.
