Job description

Hybrid – 2 Days On-Site (Dundee/Angus Region), Remainder Remote

We’re working with a highly regarded organisation in the Angus region to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a broad and varied role, providing vital financial support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate monthly management accounts
• Analyse and report on variances against budget and forecast
• Partner with departmental budget holders to provide insight and challenge
• Assist with the preparation and review of budgets and reforecasts
• Support the preparation and ongoing monitoring of cashflow forecasts
• Prepare and review VAT and Intrastat returns
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare year-end schedules for external auditors in line with deadlines
• Review monthly payroll processed by a third-party provider
• Provide guidance and oversight to the weekly payroll team
• Contribute to the development of improved financial systems and processes
• Carry out additional finance-related duties as required

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent)
• Available to start immediately or at short notice
• Strong financial management and business partnering experience
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
