Responsibilities

• Analyser et interpréter les données de performance chaque semaine, en évaluant les résultats réels par rapport au budget.
• Diriger une petite équipe de professionnels de la finance, en veillant à une remontée d'informations financières précises.
• Collaborer avec les parties prenantes internes pour soutenir le processus budgétaire et les prévisions semestrielles.
• Jouer un rôle actif dans les revues périodiques en examinant les coûts et en promouvant des initiatives d'amélioration de la productivité.
• Évaluer et remettre en question les propositions commerciales, en identifiant les risques associés et les opportunités par rapport au budget.
• Effectuer une analyse de scénarios pour évaluer les effets potentiels des changements opérationnels sur les coûts.
• Contribuer au développement de prévisions de coûts à court, moyen et long terme.

Resourcery Group are working on behalf (and in support) of a large, complex organisation, based in West Cheshire, to recruit a tenured Senior Finance Business Partner capable of managing a small team and working closely with the operational leadership team.

With a strong commitment to excellence in operational management and annual revenues topping €4.9bn, this dynamic business is fully committed to driving operational efficiencies and innovation across the organisation. Due to an internal restructure the opportunity to hire a tenured Senor Finance Business Partner has arisen; someone capable of collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, providing strategic financial insights and supporting operational decision-making processes. The aim, to reduce operating costs.

Responsibilities are expansive and as a Senior Finance Business Partner you will be required to take accountability for the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and interpret performance data weekly, assessing actual results against budget and volume-adjusted forecasts.
• Lead a small team of finance professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting for the designated cost centre.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the budgeting process and half-yearly forecasts.
• Play an active role in periodic reviews, scrutinizing costs and promoting initiatives for productivity enhancement.
• Evaluate and challenge commercial proposals, identifying associated risks and opportunities in relation to the budget.
• Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the potential effects of operational and productivity changes on costs and service levels.
• Contribute to the development of short, medium, and long-term cost forecasts, understanding how current trading and operational performance impact budgeted costs.

As such all applicants should be able to meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, preferably within a relevant sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
