Job summary

Sheridan Maine has partnered with a powerful brand to recruit a Finance Business Partner in Wolverhampton. You will work with senior leaders across the organisation to provide insight, challenge and support that drives performance and shapes the future direction.

You'll lead budgeting, forecasting and planning, develop business cases, and present recommendations to senior management. The role offers hybrid working, up to £75k, car allowance, performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experienced Finance Business Partner in a complex, fast-paced organisation.
• Comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious and proactive.
• Analytical and able to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced in Excel.

Sheridan Maine ispartnering with a powerful brand to recruit a talented Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation where commercial finance is truly at the heart of strategic decision‑making.

Working closely with senior leaders across the wider organisation, you'll provide insight, challenge and support that helps drive performance and shape the future direction of the business. This is far more than a reporting role. You'll be a trusted adviser, helping stakeholders understand what the numbers mean, what actions are needed and where opportunities exist to create value.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the commercial finance team, you'll:

• Partner with Directors and senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
• Turn complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for your areas of responsibility.
• Develop business cases, financial models and investment appraisals to support strategic initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting and business partnering activities.
• Use data and analysis to challenge assumptions, influence outcomes and improve business performance.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing decision‑makers at all levels.

You’ll likely be:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• An experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong track record in a complex and fast‑paced organisation.
• Highly credible and comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious and naturally proactive.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to simplify complex financial data into actionable recommendations and effectively communicate to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Advanced in Excel.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or Power Pivot would also be beneficial but is not essential.

Package to £75k plus car allowance and performance related bonus with a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working.
