Job summary

Cobalt Housing seeks a Finance Business Partner to work with the Communities and Development teams, translating financial information into meaningful insights to support informed planning and decision making for our customers and communities.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, build strong partnerships with managers, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to appraisals and business cases while driving continuous improvement in financial processes.

About the role

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with colleagues across our Communities and Development teams, providing trusted financial support and advice. You'll help translate financial information into meaningful insights, enabling services to make informed decisions and plan effectively for the future.

You'll contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and reporting activities, whilst developing strong partnerships with managers and stakeholders across the business. This role offers the opportunity to influence positive change, support continuous improvement and play an important part in helping us achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (or is working towards one), or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience of providing financial support, advice or business partnering services.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial information accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
• The ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
