As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting, challenging, and driving the strategic and financial decisions of the organisation, ensuring alignment with overarching goals. What You'll Do

• Engage with stakeholders internally and externally to understand best practices and influence decision makers.
• Contribute to each business area to impact the shape of commercial and non-financial performance-related decisions.
• Support continuous improvement and performance excellence activities, consistently achieving strong results.
• Drive management of performance, financial risks, and the implementation & maintenance of controls.
• Define value, key drivers that create value, and KPIs to measure value; ensure these inform performance management, decision making, and planning.
• Present monthly results in a style suitable for both finance and non-finance audiences, delivering insights and highlighting priority areas.
• Act as the finance lead on investment appraisal processes, guiding decision-making with insights and optimization opportunities aligned with business strategy and value requirements.
• Support financial responses to price controls and maximize allowances for ongoing infrastructure and service investments.
• Foster effective working relationships across Finance and Business Services, aligning services with business needs.
• Participate in developing and maintaining a cohesive Finance & Business Services team, contributing to the implementation of CFO priorities and creating a high-performing community.
