What you'll be doing
You'll provide financial and analytical support to the trading team, producing weekly routine reports along with ad hoc trial analysis, as well as supporting with the production of budgets and forecasts for the P&L. You will also manage the weekly and month end reporting, including journal processing and reconciliations and support with audit requirements and ensure a clean cut off at half year and year end.
• Support with Funky Pigeon's planning cycles (budgets & forecasts) including weekly KPI targets and category level sales
• Preparing budget & forecast packs for review meetings along with output reports for the trading teams
• Daily/ weekly reporting providing insights to drive actions
• Complete all month end reporting including processing journals, reconciling balances, and interpreting variances across the businesses, providing updates on opps & risks to plan
• Managing income and aged debt process across Funky Pigeon
• Managing capex budgets including quarterly sign offs with relevant stakeholders
• Business Partnering with both Financial and Non-Financial Stakeholders, up to exec level
• Adhoc modelling and analysis of offers & promotions
• Other tasks appropriate to the role to support the finance and trading teams
What we're looking for
• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• Someone highly numerate with an analytical background, ideally within retail or e-commerce
• Commercially minded - quick to understand the business and identify risks & opportunities
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
• Pro-active approach and willing to drive improvements
