Senior Finance Business Partner
South Birmingham
Up to 72,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

We're looking for a sharp, commercially minded and highly numerate Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a high-impact role working directly with senior leadership to influence decision-making, drive commercial performance, and deliver financial insights that make a tangible difference in a highly competitive market.

Hybrid (at least three days per week on-site) with occasional travel to other locations



The Role

As the Senior Finance Business Partner, YOU will partner with stakeholders in providing detailed analysis, customer reporting, and guidance on the financial implications of business decisions. You'll be central to shaping budgets, forecasts, supplier performance tracking, stock management, and margin delivery, while ensuring consistency and control across multiple trading entities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing annual budgets, delivering accurate forecasts, and identifying risks/opportunities before they arise.

  • Creating insightful reports and trade analysis to maximise business performance.

  • Advising on ROI and supporting investment decisions with measurable outcomes.

  • Working capital management - controlling debtors, creditors and stock levels in line with commercial targets.

  • Driving efficiency, consistency and commercial insight across the group.



What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with post-qualification experience.

  • Strong analytical skills, confident with large data sets, and proficient in tools such as Power BI and Excel.

  • Experience in sales-driven, price-sensitive markets (wholesale, retail, FMCG or similar) is a plus.

  • Commercially results-focused, with the ability to challenge, influence, and work effectively at Director/Board level.

  • Resilient, curious, energetic and able to thrive in a fast-moving, competitive environment.
