Job Details and Responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner role reports to the Finance Manager - Revenue and WIP and is part of the Lemongrass Finance Team for the EMEA region. This job description reflects the essential functions of the Finance business partner role; it does not prescribe or restrict responsibilities that may be assigned. As a small company, the Lemongrass Finance team will work and co-operate closely and assigned tasks may vary from the key elements of the role.
As a Finance Business Partner at Lemongrass, you will serve as a key liaison between Finance and our operational teams. You'll use your financial expertise to provide data-driven insights, challenge assumptions, and support commercial decision-making across global functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with operational leaders, project managers and Delivery Managers to provide financial insight, challenge decision-making, and influence business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Sales and Delivery teams ensuring correct set up and support the financial management of engagements.
• Monitor specific engagement profitability and identify and coordinate the resolution of issues.
• Provide pro-active advice to project management delivery team to increase profitability of engagements.
• Accurate and timely production of customer invoices and fees.
• Work with Finance team to manage all elements of the financial close cycle.
• Escalate any issues that require resolution to the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Understanding of local statutory requirements.
• Expert knowledge of Revenue recognition accounting US GAAP (ASC606) and UK GAAP (FRS102).

• Commercial acumen and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong data interpretation and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financials and solve complex problems.
• Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work independently.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power Query is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to establish key relationships with a number of stakeholders.
• Flexible approach and ability to operate across all levels of Finance delivery.
• Ability to flex hours during periods of high demand. e.g. month end accounting.
