A higher education institution in Twickenham is seeking two Finance Business Partners to support financial planning and analysis. Qualifications

HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a successful merged college group, based across 5 vibrant campuses. We offer high quality courses, apprenticeships and programmes for young people.

We are looking to appoint two Finance Business Partners, one based at Harrow and one based at Richmond, to proactively identify, plan and meet the finance needs of the College group.

Supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and the Director of Finance, you would provide a professional, customer focussed accounting service and deliver insightful, accurate and timely management information to ensure budget managers, the senior management team and other stakeholders have the information relevant to their needs and to ensure financial targets are met. You will also support the preparation of budgets and forecasts and monitoring of actual income, expenditure and capital spend against targets.

Requirements
  • Completed or progressing towards a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA / CIMA
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Finance role
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting within an accounting function
  • Detailed knowledge of finance and accounting regulations
  • Detailed knowledge of finance, particularly management accounting systems and processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
